World Zombie Day falls on October 13, it occurs on the same date every year, it’s an international event that started in 2006.

This day was put together for fans of the zombie culture to come together to raise awareness to relieve hunger and homelessness.

This day is celebrated in over 50 cities worldwide, including London, New York, Pittsburgh, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Tokyo.

To celebrate, people often dress as the walking dead and come together to do the exact thing zombies do… walk.

The first Zombie Walk took place at Pittsburgh’s Monroeville Mall, which is the location where George Romero filmed Dawn of the Dead.

If you’re looking for other ways to celebrate, why not watch your favorite undead movie or TV show? Or you can read facts about zombies, or whether they’re even biologically possible!

Finally, we’d like to share with you the ultimate guide on how to survive a zombie apocalypse.
