Chocolates and roses are all well and good, but they can get a little humdrum year after year, so why not break from the norm by treating your Valentine to a little romance in the comfort of your own home this year?
Our infographic offers some fabulous ideas that you can do, with or without the addition of red roses and chocolates.
Show your partner how much you love them by cooking up a romantic dinner for two in front of a cozy warm fire.
Set the mood by lowering the lighting, rustle up their favorite dinner, order a takeaway, pop open a bottle of bubbly, and enjoy each other’s company.
Alternatively, draw them a hot bath, place scented candles around the room, and if the mood takes you, jump in a share the water! Complete the treat by having plenty of warm, soft, fluffy towels to wrap them in.
If you find it difficult to express your emotions, simple gestures that have been given a little thought will go a long way.
Help out with the chores; give them some ‘me’ time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday routines, or share a romantic experience with them.
Whatever you decide to do to express your love and affection, make sure that you do it on Valentine’s Day.
